abstract expressionism.
is insane. its all the artists that end up unifying themselves because they all want to be individual, they all steer clear of everything done before...which in the end unifies them.

my favorite, Jackson Pollock, an alcoholic who created pieces of art as big as 18ft, unstretched canvas laid out on the floor just beckoning for color. ( btw i found out that those big pieces of canvas...cost anywhere from 70 to 100 bucks, art fund anyone?)
his technique is awesome, he stands on the canvas and pour paint from cans, its so industrious and amazing, covering every inch from every angle, it awesome.

i recently sat down a week ago before i learned about this artist and painted my own abstract expressionism...
and then i studied jackson pollock....

and i realized how similar in technique they are.
i have created my own way of painting in abstract expressionist way and i love it.

no sketches, just messes :)
